The Pride Parade usually starts outside Taipei City Hall Plaza in the afternoon. With that being said, the vibe of the Taipei pride was similar to my experience in other cities. It is situated on the Tan-shui (Danshui, or Tamsui) River, almost at the northern tip of the island.

The best views? Pride is a protest and a party, but it is never only about partying. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Xinyi.
